Job description

With 15 years of web technology experience, Symetris team members are specialized in the deployment of large-scale digital projects.

QA specialists ensure that the level of quality is achieved and maintained throughout Symetris' large-scale web projects. Their responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, evaluating and mastering the requirements of test plans
  • Writing and adjusting test cases
  • Executing test cases rigorously according to acceptance criteria
  • Identifying functional and visual defects
  • Documenting and prioritizing defects in project management tools
  • Offering recommendations for improvements that go beyond the test cases
  • Working in collaboration with several stakeholders on the project (developers, project leaders, partners and customers)


  • Entry level position
  • College or prof. degree in Computer and Information Sciences, software testing or similar degree
  • Proficient with documentation and task management tools like Redmine or Jira
  • Worked with either CMS/CRM/ERP platforms in the past
  • Navigation experience with multiple platforms and browsers (mobile, tablet, desktop, firefox, edge, chrome, safari, etc.)
  • Analytical skills that keep the “big picture” in mind
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing priorities
  • Willingness to learn, adaptability, autonomy, initiative and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills & teamwork
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Leadership, initiative and accountability
  • High emotional intelligence (capability to manage stress with grace)
  • Enthusiastic to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team
  • Motivated to work in a growing small business
